Welcome, Lisa. This is my first time being signed with a publishing house, also, and it's an adventure!

My novelette is contemporary romance, but in all honesty, I never expected to write a romance--I consider myself a fantasy writer and am working on an epic novel. I've also had short horror stories published online and my first professional fantasy story is coming out in a month--but Astraea Press is beating that market to the punch by releasing my first professional work with Maya's Vacation at the end of the month. =) It's all very exciting! I am so glad that this novelette found a home as I knew once I wrote it that it didn't fit into more traditional romance due to its length and lack of erotica. Thank you, Stephanie, for starting Astraea just when I'd convinced myself I'd never find a market for it.
